The first generation of the Ford Thunderbird was a two-seat convertible produced by Ford for the 1955 to the 1957 model years. The 1957 Ford Thunderbird, the final year of the two-seater, is a classic and highly sought-after model with abundant aftermarket parts readily available. It featured a restyled exterior with a larger grille, tailfins, and reshaped bumpers. 21,380 units were sold.
This car was frame-off restored in 1987 and refreshed again in 2017. It has a new Holley 4 bbl carburetor on top of the 312 ci V8 ahead of the Ford O Matic automatic transmission. The exhaust system is stainless steel. An alternator and electronic ignition were added with the original parts being saved.
The odometer reads 08694 and is the mileage from the restoration in 1987. Having been in a garage since restoration, there is no rust or sun damage with the padded dash looking like new. Both the tan soft top and white porthole hardtop come with the car.

The Jaguar Mark IX is a four-door luxury saloon car announced 8 October 1958 and produced by Jaguar Cars between 1958 and 1961 and was popular as a state car. It was replaced by the lower and more contemporary-styled Mark X in 1961, ending the rolling body style that was shared with Rolls-Royce and Bentley.
The sunshine roof became a standard fitting for the UK market. The interior is luxurious, featuring extensive use of leather, burled walnut, and deep-pile wool carpet. A range of single and twin-tone paint schemes was offered.
The MK IX has a torsion bar independent front suspension and leaf-sprung rear live axle, along with four-wheel servo-assisted Dunlop disc brakes.
This car features power steering (with a telescopic steering wheel), power brakes, and aftermarket A/C. In 2017, during a refresh, a new long block 350 was installed and attached to the turbo 700 transmission, along with a body repaint, all wood refinished, and a new headliner.

The first Karmann-Ghia was introduced in Europe in 1955 and arrived in America as a coupe in 1956. The convertible soon followed in 1958. Ghia is the name of the Italian styling house who were responsible for designing the look of the Karmann Ghia. Karmann built it.
This car had a new floor pan installed during its 2019-2021 restomod work. It has a 1976 engine fitted with two Weber carburetors. A new black cloth top and headliner were installed along with new carpeting and seats, etc. The headlights are from a mini-Cooper, side panels give a nod to the new Corvettes. Mileage is 514 on a replacement GPS Speedometer.
This is one of a kind, built just for fun! Some will hate it, some will love it... I get it. I did it to relive my 1950s and 1960s years when we frequently customized Fords with Mercury parts and so on.

Owned and saved from destruction by the famous Barney Pollard.
Barney Pollard Sr. worked for Chalmers, and restored the car in the 1940s. Barney collected many cars and stacked them on end in a warehouse, saving them from being crushed for badly needed steel during WWII. This car was one of those stacked survivors!
Hugh Chalmers bought "Thomas" of Buffalo, NY, in 1908. "Chalmers" was built 1908-1923. 250,000 were built, but less than 300 remain. In the late teens and early 20's, Maxwell shared the plant with Chalmers. Walter Chrysler took over the company, and in 1924, Chalmers became Chrysler.
6 cylinder overhead valve, overhead cam. Forty horsepower, 3 1/8 bore, 5 inch stroke. The transmission is a 3-speed transaxle with a 5 1/4 to 1 final drive. Built in Detroit, cost $1350, a 124" wheel base, weighing 3,160lbs.
New tires, step plates, a full set of side curtains, and the top has a boot to cover when the top is down. Upgraded to be a great touring car with hydraulic brakes in front, an alternator for more power, and an electric starter that starts the engine easily. And modern headlights for brighter, safer driving at night.
EXTRA- Running chassis, differential, and complete engine for sale for an additional $3,700.
